The Lewis Carroll Project is a dark tale about the charged and ambiguous relationship between Charles Dodgson–pen name Lewis Carroll–and his real-life muse, the 10-year-old Alice Liddell.
This is the story of Alice outside Wonderland—a glimpse into Victorian Oxford through the lens of Charles’s camera. When Charles Dodgson meets Alice Liddell, life will never be the same for either of them.
“You cannot choose what you find beautiful,” explains Charles to Alice and her sisters.
This is the story of a friendship cut heartbreakingly short, a man unraveled, the birth of a masterpiece, and the creation of Lewis Carroll.
