Andrew Neisler is a Brooklyn-based theatre artist and director Off-Broadway: critically acclaimed new musical FOLK WANDERING (Pipeline), NY Times’ Critics Pick CLOWN BAR (Pipeline, The Box), Drama-Desk nominated CHARLATAN (Ars Nova). Other select credits: GUYS + DOLLS with new arrangements by Ada Westfall and Alex Thrailkill (University of the Arts), Cesar Alvarez’s THE ELEMENTARY SPACETIME SHOW (FringeARTS), Andrew Farmer’s THE GRAY MAN (Pipeline), STREEPSHOW: EPISODES 1 through 4 (The Tank), and SECRET SUPPER: THE MUSICAL (Spring Street Social Society). Andrew has developed new work with Ars Nova, Naked Angels, Primary Stages, The Public Theater, Playwrights Horizons, NYTW, HERE Arts, The Lark, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Williamstown Theatre Festival, NYU, and more. He is currently working on a new musical NOISE with Cesar Alvarez and The Public Theater. Co-Founder of arts incubation company Fresh Ground Pepper (, a member of the Pipeline ensemble, and a Teaching Artist at PHTS/NYU. Alumnus of the Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab, Ars Nova’s Director-in-Residence, and the Civilians’ R&D Group. Andrew holds a BFA in Drama for the NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
